Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in both private-sector healthcare projects and federal projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge, leadership, and expertise to oversee and manage complex construction projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulations, and client expectations.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
Healthcare Sector Expertise:
Leverage extensive experience in private-sector healthcare projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of healthcare facility construction requirements and regulations.
Federal Project Management:
Demonstrate proficiency in managing federal projects, particularly with USACE or NAVFAC, and ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
Contract Management:
Oversee contract negotiations, review contract documents, and ensure all parties adhere to contractual obligations.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
Budget and Cost Control:
Manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement and enforce quality assurance and control measures to ensure that construction projects meet or exceed industry and regulatory standards.
Team Leadership:
Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Mentor and guide junior project management staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in construction project management.
Proven experience in private-sector healthcare projects and federal projects with USACE or NAVFAC.
Strong understanding of federal construction regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
