Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
You should have most of the following:
- Own revenue FP&A, including volume/price/mix and margin analysis across products, channels, and customers
- Build driver-based financial models for forecasting and annual planning; present insights to Sales/Commercial leadership
- Perform detailed variance analysis (actuals vs. plan/forecast) and translate findings into clear business actions
- Develop pricing and profitability analyses for deals, programs, and product lines; support incentive and sales goal tracking
- Create and automate dashboards and reports in Excel/BI (Tableau) to monitor KPIs, mix, and margin trends
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Cost Accounting, and IT to improve data quality and standard processes
- Support monthly/quarterly close activities tied to revenue, standard margin bridges, and management reporting
- Advance planning/reporting process improvements; contribute to system enhancements (Oracle/Hyperion/Tableau)
- Manage large datasets; build from-scratch models and scenario analyses to guide commercial decisions
You should have most of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Several years of relevant FP&A experience with strong revenue focus
- Experience in a product-based environment; manufacturing or distribution preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with comfort handling large datasets and building models from scratch
- Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Familiarity with standard cost and standard margin concepts; able to explain results to Sales/Commercial partners
- Proficiency with FP&A/BI tools: Hyperion Planning, Oracle, Tableau (or similar)
- Proven ability to influence decisions through clear communication and data-driven insights
- Nice to Have: SQL; Tableau power user; pricing analytics; sales pipeline reporting; incentive comp tracking; process improvement and/or system implementation experience
