Job Details

Our dynamic organization is seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in accounting who is looking to make a significant impact in a thriving industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines during a fast-paced monthly close cycle
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of shareholders’ equity, and cash flow statement in accordance with GAAP
  • Assist in drafting financial statement footnotes for standalone audits and support preparation of SEC reporting packages for quarterly and annual filings
  • Act as a liaison with external auditors by providing requested documentation and addressing audit-related inquiries
  • Analyze financial statement components to identify trends, fluctuations, and variances, and clearly communicate findings
  • Maintain and enhance financial reporting processes and support the effectiveness of internal controls
  • Apply a strong understanding of GAAP principles along with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Support the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal control environments
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data while applying sound account reconciliation practices
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and upload supporting documentation
  • Prepare journal entries and related supporting schedules, including allocations and intercompany eliminations
  • Generate ad hoc reports and assist with special projects as needed


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the medical industry
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statements
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with NetSuite a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus
