Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management on a wide range of human resources issues, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Lead the open enrollment process, ensuring efficient and accurate administration of employee benefits.
- Manage and optimize the use of HRIS for data management, reporting, and process improvement.
- Interpret and apply employment law to inform HR policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies that support the organization's strategic objectives and uphold its values.
- Manage labor relations, including contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and compliance with labor laws.
- Collaborate with other HR professionals and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in HR services and initiatives.
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or HR certification is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of labor relations and employment law.
- Proven experience in open enrollment and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technology.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
