Job Details


  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Advanced degree Preferred
  • Hands-on experience with reactive, polymer chemistry
  • Ability to work with common lab analysis tools
  • 5+ years experience in chemistry formulation
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with suppliers and customers
  • Comfort with hands-on approach to chemistry handling and analysis.
  • Strong, disciplined approach to project management.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills, to work with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, optimistic self-starter attitude.

  • Identify new chemistry needs from customer inquiries.
  • Develop chemistry systems to meet customer needs. Validate on lab scale and move to production scale.
  • Work as an integral member of the technology/project teams for product development. Including project definition, planning and execution.
  • Develop and manage overall chemical portfolio for both businesses.
  • Work with new suppliers to take advantage of their resources and innovation.
  • Build relationships with third parties and leverage resources to support development projects
  • Occasional travel (domestic and international) as needed to customers, suppliers, third party partners, internal sites and industry events. 25% travel typical, periods of higher travel on occasion.
