We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Sr. Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing process efficiency, and reducing costs. Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Utilize Mastercam to design and program complex parts.
- Apply your expertise in process engineering to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime, and enhancing productivity.
- Design and develop innovative tooling solutions to support production and improve process capability.
- Utilize AutoCAD for the design and implementation of manufacturing systems.
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance to implement process enhancements.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Process Engineering within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Mastercam, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling design, and cost analysis.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Lean Six Sigma certification would be a plus.
