Job Details

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager to lead the development and execution of product strategies for a portfolio of water treatment solutions. This role oversees the entire product lifecycle, from innovation to market execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, market insights, and leadership skills to drive new product development, optimize product performance, and execute long-term innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Develop and execute a product portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives and evolving market needs.
  • Conduct market research to assess industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
  • Define and maintain product roadmaps, balancing new product launches, enhancements, and portfolio optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

2. Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with engineering, R&D, marketing, supply chain, and sales teams to drive product success.
  • Ensure alignment across departments, balancing technical feasibility, commercial viability, and customer expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings, managing project timelines, deliverables, and strategic priorities.

3. New Product Development & Innovation
  • Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation to commercialization.
  • Develop product requirements, specifications, and value propositions based on customer insights.
  • Work closely with R&D to develop innovative, high-quality products that meet performance and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee product testing, validation, and pilot programs to ensure a successful market launch.

4. Market & Performance Analysis
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including sales, profitability, and market share.
  • Utilize data analytics and customer feedback to refine product positioning and drive continuous improvements.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions for underperforming products and new growth opportunities.
  • Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on market trends and performance metrics.

5. Future Growth & Industry Trends
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies, and consumer demands to inform future product opportunities.
  • Build relationships with industry experts, research institutions, and technology partners to enhance innovation strategies.
  • Develop business cases for new product investments and innovation initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Education
  • 10+ years of experience in product management within consumer goods, water treatment, filtration, home appliances, or a related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Technical Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of water treatment technologies, filtration systems, and industry regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive business growth.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends, customer insights, and financial performance.
  • Experience with stage-gate product development, innovation frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in product management tools, data analytics software, and project management platforms.

Additional Information
  • This is an onsite role (hybrid capability) with travel expectations up to 25%.
