Take the lead on exciting commercial construction projects that shape how people work, connect, and experience their communities. We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager for a permanent opportunity overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, build strong client relationships, and deliver high-quality spaces across commercial, healthcare, life science, hospitality, restaurants, retail, offices, museums, parks, studios, entertainment venues, and auto dealerships. Bring your construction expertise, business judgment, and leadership skills to projects where your impact is visible from day one.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have broad commercial construction experience, strong leadership capabilities, a commitment to mentoring others, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to connect people and build effective teams. Extensive, hands-on preconstruction experience is also essential. We are looking for a true “doer” who can lead while personally driving the work when needed.
Lead the full project lifecycle, including preconstruction planning, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, construction execution, turnover, and closeout.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, change orders, and cost controls to support successful financial outcomes.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identify critical-path activities, and resolve issues that could affect delivery.
Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to keep teams aligned.
Oversee subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, contract administration, procurement, and performance.
Partner with field leadership to uphold safety standards, quality requirements, applicable building codes, and project specifications.
Identify project risks early and implement practical solutions to minimize delays, cost overruns, and operational disruptions.
Lead progress meetings and provide clear, timely reporting on project status, financial performance, milestones, and outstanding decisions.
Manage RFIs, submittals, documentation, inspections, punch lists, and closeout deliverables.
Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication, sound decision-making, and consistent follow-through.
Mentor project managers, assistant project managers, and project engineers while promoting accountability and collaboration.
Qualifications
10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, with demonstrated success delivering projects from planning through completion.
Relevant experience in one or more of the following sectors, or equivalent construction environments: commercial, healthcare, life science, hospitality, restaurants, retail, offices, museums, parks, studios, entertainment venues, and auto dealerships.
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, and client expectations.
Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, specifications, building codes, safety practices, and quality control.
Experience coordinating complex stakeholder groups and resolving project challenges with urgency and professionalism.
Strong financial acumen, including estimating, forecasting, cost tracking, and change management.
Proficiency with construction project management and scheduling software, such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and a focus on results.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
