We are seeking a Permanent Senior Project Manager for Construction to join our dynamic team. This position offers the chance to lead and manage diverse commercial projects, utilizing your skills in design build, submittals, project budgets, Bluebeam, and building codes.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects from conception to completion. This includes coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

2. Reviewing and approving project designs and plans, ensuring they comply with necessary specifications and building codes.

3. Managing project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring all financial aspects of the project are in accordance with the established budget.

4. Utilizing Bluebeam software for project management tasks, including creating and editing PDFs, tracking project updates, and facilitating real-time collaboration.

5. Preparing, reviewing, and approving submittals, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.

6. Leading and managing project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring effective communication among team members.

7. Proactively identifying and managing project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.

8. Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager position will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction sector, specifically with commercial projects.

2. Proven experience with design build, submittals, managing project budgets, using Bluebeam, and understanding building codes.

3. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage diverse project teams.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks.

7. The ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project.

9. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred, but not required.
