A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an accomplished Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee major environmental and utility projects, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities. The role involves managing the construction of new facilities as well as upgrades and expansions to existing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements, while maintaining strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of construction for treatment facility projects, including plant upgrades, new water treatment plants, and pump stations. Oversee site preparation through commissioning and handover.
  • Manage budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting to prevent overruns while maintaining high-quality construction standards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee quality control measures, including material selection, system testing, and commissioning procedures.
  • Identify potential risks related to logistics, scheduling, and site conditions, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience, with at least 3 years overseeing water/wastewater treatment or utility infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong technical knowledge of treatment facility systems and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Proven track record of leading diverse teams and successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects.
