We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Project Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and leading large scale construction projects from inception to completion. You will be the driving force behind ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. This position requires a solid background in the construction industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate with team members and external vendors to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
3. Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
4. Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
5. Manage project procurement management.
6. Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff.
7. Monitor and manage project risks and issues, and devise mitigation and contingency plans.
8. Provide leadership, direction, and support to your project team.
9. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
10. Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and other construction professionals.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on electrical projects.
3. Possession of a valid Electrical License.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and legal requirements.
5. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software.
6. Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project etc.).
7. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
8. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
9. Excellent time and project management skills.
10. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
11. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
