We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Sr. Quality Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is designed for a professional with a strong background in quality engineering and a proven track record in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control and assurance in line with the company's objectives. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Sr. Quality Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and executing quality engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems in compliance with ISO standards.
3. Conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformities.
5. Using APQP and PPAP methodologies to support new product development and launch.
6. Facilitating FMEA sessions to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met at all stages of the product life cycle.
8. Providing technical guidance and training to the quality engineering team.
9. Preparing and presenting quality reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the Engineering industry.
3. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or equivalent is highly desirable.
4. Proficient in ISO standards, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and internal audit procedures.
5. Demonstrated experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
6. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Proficient in using quality management software and MS Office Suite.
