We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Engineer to join our thriving manufacturing team. This position provides a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and products, and to play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our business. If you are a proven sales professional with a technical background in permanent mold / die casting, have a knack for building strong relationships, and a proven track record of optimizing sales with new and existing clients, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing and growing sales within your designated territory, ensuring we meet or exceed our targets.
2. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their unique needs and requirements, and providing tailored solutions.
3. Demonstrating and presenting our products to clients, showcasing their features and benefits.
4. Working closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
5. Negotiating contracts and closing agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
6. Keeping abreast of industry trends and competitive products, and identifying potential areas of growth.
7. Providing regular sales forecasts and reports to management, using your knowledge of the market to inform our sales strategy.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (desired, not required)
3. Advanced communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-makers.
4. Proven experience in Account Management and Territory Management, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
5. A strong technical understanding of our products and the manufacturing industry.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and provide innovative solutions.
7. A self-motivated and results-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
