We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Sr. Vice President of Finance to join our team. This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to showcase and develop their skills. The right candidate will be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind, able to lead financial operations and provide sound financial advice to our executive team. If you have a passion for financial strategy, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record in driving financial performance, this role is for you.
As the Sr. Vice President of Finance, you will:
1. Develop and execute financial management strategies that align with our company's overall objectives.
2. Prepare and manage operating budgets, ensuring we are operating within our financial means while still driving growth.
3. Drive financial performance by implementing effective financial management strategies and monitoring key financial metrics.
4. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
5. Ensure effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
6. Coordinate the preparation of the company's annual report.
7. Work with senior teams to grow the business by formulating strategies and plans.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Sr. Vice President of Finance role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position.
3. Proven experience in financial management strategy, preparing operating budgets, and driving financial performance.
4. Strong understanding of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
5. High level of proficiency in financial software and reporting systems.
6. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex financial information to non-financial colleagues and stakeholders.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
