We are on the hunt for a passionate, experienced and highly skilled Permanent SSIS Developer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using SSIS in a high-volume environment. The developer will be working closely with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and interacting with various teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all platforms.
2. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Design, develop, and implement data models to support business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
4. Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data validation to support data migration and integration projects.
5. Create and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and data security.
6. Develop and maintain data warehouse architecture, defining and implementing data standards and procedures.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data optimization and process improvement.
8. Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify any data discrepancies or issues.
9. Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure optimal use of business intelligence tools.
10. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in data management and ETL processes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SSIS development, data modeling, and ETL development.
3. Proficiency in SQL Server, Power BI, Tableau, and ADF.
4. Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture and design.
5. Experience in gathering requirements and interacting with stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and convert them into actionable information.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
