Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant (AIA Billing), you will:
1. Oversee the AI billing process, ensuring all invoices are accurate and sent out in a timely manner.
2. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Conduct collection activities to ensure the timely receipt of invoice payments.
4. Use Microsoft 365 to manage and analyze financial data, create financial reports, and provide recommendations based on your findings.
5. Collaborate with the finance team to review and improve financial processes and systems.
6. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
7. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
8. Provide support for the annual audit process.
9. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant (AIA Billing) position will possess the following:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proven experience with Microsoft 365, collections, billing, and account reconciliations.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
5. Proficient in the use of AI and automation tools in the finance industry.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
9. Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
10. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large amounts of data.
