Staff Accountant - Construction

We are a real estate invement firm that invests in properties throughout the United States. We have been around for a few years and have processed over $600M in loans to purchase properties.

We provide capital for high growth projects and need your help with accounting.

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports, including financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections.
• Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with government and labor union regulations.
• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Obtain and track lien waivers from vendors and subcontractors.
• Help in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and accurate payments and compliance with contractual agreements.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited and credentialed degree program.
• At least two years of experience working in accounting or payroll for a construction, engineering, or architectural firm.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, financial systems, and payroll software.
• Experience with Prevailing Wage Certified Payroll and California Labor laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and general office skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
