Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of grant accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations and standards.
  • Utilizing NetSuite to maintain financial records, track transactions, and generate comprehensive financial reports.
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insights on financial performance and trends.
  • Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Working closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting.
  • Collaborating with other finance team members and departments to achieve organizational financial objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Healthcare industry is nice to have.
  • Extensive experience with grant accounting, GAAP, and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficiency in using NetSuite or QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of the month-end close process.
