Staff Accountant - Hybrid Remote

Located in East Cleveland, OH we are a growing company in the wholesale industry looking for a sharp Staff Accountant to join our team and hit the ground running! As an Accountant on our team, you will play a crucial role in utilizing our ERP system, overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, overseeing financial reporting, and providing valuable support to our office operations.

This position will start as a part time position and eventually migrate into a full time position.

• Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment management, and timely collections
• Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Conducting monthly bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements with general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies, and resolving outstanding issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for effective decision-making
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals, to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Ensuring that all bank transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system, making necessary adjustments and corrections
• Managing and maintaining our ERP system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial data entry and retrieval
• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing input and analysis to aid in strategic planning and cost management

MUST HAVE, experience with:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ERP and CRM systems, (Huge plus if it's within a manufacturing or distribution environment)
• Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
