Job Details

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant who is eager to learn and grow their career under the mentorship of a CPA. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and entrepreneurial team, contribute to the foundation of our accounting processes, and gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities. You’ll play a key role in helping us build a best-in-class finance function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Support monthly close processes and help prepare financial statements and reports
Maintain general ledger accuracy and help implement best practices in accounting workflows
Help with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with the Controller
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and other teams to support business decisions
Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Contribute to the development of accounting procedures and documentation as the company scales

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (industry or public accounting)
Working knowledge of GAAP and strong general ledger understanding
Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset
Comfortable in a startup environment: adaptable, collaborative, and willing to pitch in where needed
