We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring our operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for managing the monthly close process, forecasting, GAAP compliance, bank reconciliations, wire transactions, corporate credit card management, expense reimbursements, and accounts payable. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the entire accounting process, including the monthly close process, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
2. Prepare and present financial forecasts and projections.
3. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
4. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage wire transactions.
5. Oversee corporate credit card management and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
6. Handle expense reimbursements, ensuring all expenses are appropriately approved and processed in a timely manner.
7. Manage accounts payable, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment processing.
8. Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to streamline processes, improve financial transparency, and drive business growth.
9. Participate in financial audits and work with auditors to ensure compliance.
10. Assist in various special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as required.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
3. Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
4. Proven experience in managing the monthly close process, forecasting, bank reconciliations, wire transactions, corporate credit card management, expense reimbursements, and accounts payable.
5. Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
7. Experience with accounting software and systems.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. CPA or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
