We are currently in search of an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Accountant to join our vibrant team in the fast-paced Engineering industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department. This position requires a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial principles. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and general ledger management. Having a CPA or being a certified public accountant is a must.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and conducting cost and revenues analyses.
4. Develop periodic reports for management.
5. Audit financial transactions and documents.
6. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
7. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
8. Conducting forecasting and risk analysis assessments.
9. Ensuring compliance with state revenue service.
10. Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
11. Developing strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, the candidate must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. CPA or Certified Public Accountant.
3. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the Engineering industry.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g. SAP).
6. Excellent mathematical skills and an understanding of data privacy standards.
7. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
8. High attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to direct and supervise.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
11. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
