Job Details

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries and complete various general ledger operations
  • Participate in monthly and annual closing process
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Present information on various financial topics as requested by management
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts and corresponding schedules
  • Prepare account or expense analysis as requested by management
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Perform bank account reconciliations
  • Assist Accounts Payable/ Receivable staff in invoice processing and reconciliation activities
  • Assist Accounting Specialist staff in revenue recognition and reconciliation activities
  • Assist senior accounting staff with general accounting functions or special projects
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual financial and tax audits
  • Participate in the implementation and/or maintenance of internal financial controls, business processes, and procedures

Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four-year university.
  • One to three (1-3) years’ experience in accounting or finance related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Previous accounting experience in retail, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
  • Previous experience or knowledge in accounts payable/ receivable processes.
  • Previous experience or knowledge in bank reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge of or experience with ERP and business intelligence systems such as Oracle Cloud Fusion, and QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge of or experience in accounting for multiple legal entities preferred.
