This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle AR process, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and supporting the month-end close. Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing schedules.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
Process customer payments and apply them accurately to accounts.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and support customer inquiries.
Assist in month-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline AR and billing operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
Experience in construction or real estate.
Familiarity with ERP systems and automated billing platforms.
CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
