Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Manage all aspects of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Oversee the financial aspects of project management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Develop and implement effective business strategies to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee month-end closing processes and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements, investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring and reporting on variances.
- Manage tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations.
- Oversee cash flow management, optimizing liquidity and minimizing risk.
- Use advanced Excel skills (v-look ups, pivot tables) to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online ERP for financial management and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial procedures and ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in payroll, project management, forecasting, business strategy, preparing financial statements, month-end processes, reconciliation, and GAAP.
- Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, tax planning, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of cash flow management.
- Ability to reconcile GL and bank statements accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using advanced Excel features (v-look ups, pivot tables).
- Experience with QuickBooks Online ERP is a must.
- Commercial construction experience is highly desirable.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
