Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and analyzing variances.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the medical industry or healthcare sector is a plus.
