Job Details
We are a leading real-estate development firm looking for a Property Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of property accounting, including payroll processing, filing sales and use tax returns, NetSuite, and month-end close. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property accounting, including payroll processing, filing sales and use tax returns, NetSuite, and month-end close
- Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset records
- Prepare and file property tax returns
- Assist with audits and other financial reporting requirements
- Provide support to other members of the finance team as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of experience in property accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with payroll processing, filing sales and use tax returns, NetSuite, and month-end close
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
