We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team in the manufacturing indusrty. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, conducting general ledger reconciliations, preparing audit schedules, and handling monthly and quarterly corporate reporting requests. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports in compliance with SEC regulations.
  • Conduct thorough and accurate general ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare detailed audit schedules to support the external audit process.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to monthly and quarterly corporate reporting requests.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with the management team to develop strategic financial plans and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
  • Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly desired, but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, month-end, quarter-end, year-end reporting REQUIRED
  • SEC Reporting and SOX experience
  • Experience working in the manufacgturing indsutry or a publicly traded company REQUIRED
  • Proficient in month-end-reporting and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Experience in preparing audit schedules.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and management accounting principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in financial regulations.
