Job Details
Duties include:
sales purchase order report.
To be successful in this position, you must have an understanding of accounting principles; corporate/business accounting; month-end closing processes; accounting reconciliations; payroll processing & human resources; and proficiency with computers & software, such as MS Excel, Management Software Solutions, and QuickBooks. You should be dependable, trustworthy, efficient, organized, and not mind wearing multiple hats.
Skills and Educational requirements:
- Perform daily and month-end accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to, preparing journal entries, updating financial
- Help process bi-weekly payroll, remitting payroll liability and monthly benefit payments, orientation & onboarding new employees, processing
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll and sales tax filings.
- Work with Accounts Receivable staff to handle customer inquiries, manage credit limit overrides, collect past due payments, process credit
- Work with Accounts Payable staff to help manage relationships with vendors and service providers; ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on
- Work with Parts, Service, and Sales departments on a number of inter-department reconciliations, status tracking, and research projects. Including,
sales purchase order report.
- Tracking & posting company credit card expenditures, reconcile credit card activity, and processing employee expense reports.
- Perform a variety of office administration duties such as replacing printer toners, managing cell phones, and maintaining stock of office supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or related work experience (5 years).
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Understanding of basic labor law, payroll processing and payroll taxes
- Proficiency with computer software including windows, Microsoft office (Excel), Management Accounting Software, and payroll software
- Exceptional time management and excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Professional manner and strong ethical code.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Ability to learn new tasks, take good notes, and retain what you are taught.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks as needed.
