Are you a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical individual with a passion for accounting and finance? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have experience with month end close, GL expense coding, AP matching, Accounts Payable Invoicing, accounts payables, and general ledger reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of results.
2. Assisting with the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
3. Utilizing GL expense coding to accurately record financial transactions.
4. Managing the AP matching process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
5. Handling all aspects of Accounts Payable Invoicing, including data entry, processing, and recording transactions.
6. Maintaining and managing accounts payables to ensure timely and accurate payments.
7. Performing general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
8. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
9. Supporting with other accounting, finance, and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
3. Proven experience with month end close, GL expense coding, AP matching, Accounts Payable Invoicing, accounts payables, and general ledger reconciliation.
4. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
6. Experience with accounting software and databases.
7. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
