As a Permanent Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, and general ledger entries.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
2. Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
3. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
4. Plan, assign and review staff’s work.
5. Support month-end and year-end close process.
6. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
7. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
8. Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures.
9. Utilize SAP to streamline accounting functions and maintain financial records.
10. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
11. Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
4. Experience with SAP, Financial Reporting, General Ledger, Account Reconciliation.
5. Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (GAAP).
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
10. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
