Are you a numbers guru with a keen eye for detail? We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; preparing and analyzing budgets; and performing general bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing strategic analysis and advice to management on the company's financial performance. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Staff Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Performing general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts.
2. Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.
3. Preparing analysis of accounts as requested.
4. Assisting with year-end closings.
5. Administering accounts receivable and accounts payable.
6. Preparing bank deposits and bank reconciliations.
7. Assisting with the preparation of analysis of financial reports and data, and preparing monthly, quarterly and other reports as needed or requested.
8. Conducting regular ledger processes.
9. Reconciling company bank, credit card and loan accounts.
10. Reviewing and tracking expenses, payroll, taxation and other financial transactions.
11. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
12. Conducting regular audits and liaising with external auditors.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
2. Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank deposits, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliation.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
4. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
5. Attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors.
6. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
7. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
8. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
9. Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
10. Proven experience in auditing and tracking financial resources.
11. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
