Staff Accountant

Our fast-paced technology company is seeking a skilled and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team permanently. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payment
• Handle accounts receivable, including creating invoices, managing collections, and reconciling accounts
• Maintain the general ledger, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy
• Conduct bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Provide support for audits and other financial reporting requirements
• Communicate regularly with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the technology industry
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliation
• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
