We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, hybrid role that will allow you to work both remotely and in-person. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our company's operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing strategic financial guidance to our management team. You must have a strong background in accruals, prepaids, adjustments, balance sheets, general ledger, annual audit, union accounting, inventory accounting, journal entries, and CPA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage the month-end close process, including accruals, prepaids, and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Conduct annual audits and assist with the preparation of tax returns.
• Manage union accounting and ensure compliance with union contracts.
• Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the management team.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accruals, prepaids, adjustments, balance sheets, general ledger, annual audit, union accounting, inventory accounting, journal entries, and CPA.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
