We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Staff Accountant to join our consumer goods team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, and Cash Applications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and will be comfortable working with a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and timely.
2. Conducting regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
3. Applying cash receipts to customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
4. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
5. Participating in financial audits, providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
6. Collaborating with the sales team to forecast revenue and identify potential areas of cost savings.
7. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal requirements.
8. Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant position will possess the following qualifications:

1. An Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
3. Proven experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, and Cash Applications.
4. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues.
