We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Staff Attorney to focus on Employment Law with our on-site legal team. This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced professional to provide legal counsel and support on a wide range of employment-related legal matters. The ideal candidate will have 3yrs+ experience in employment law, contract law, and risk management. This role requires a high level of professional ethics, a keen eye for detail, and advanced communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of employment-related legal matters including but not limited to employment contracts, labor relations, employee benefits, and workplace disputes.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate various employment contracts and agreements to ensure they comply with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
3. Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
4. Handle litigation, including managing outside counsel, as well as responding to administrative charges and inquiries.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis on various employment law issues and provide appropriate legal solutions.
6. Develop and deliver training on employment law matters, corporate policies, and legal risk management to various stakeholders within the organization.
7. Stay abreast of all new and evolving employment laws, regulations, and industry trends and ensure the organization's compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the FL state bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of legal experience with a focus on employment law, preferably in a corporate environment.
4. Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
5. Proven experience in contract law and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
6. Experience in managing litigation and working with outside counsel.
7. Advanced communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and drive decision-making.
8. Strong legal research and writing skills.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage and mitigate legal risks.
10. Experience in insurance and risk management will be an added advantage.
11. High level of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
