Job Details

Position Summary:

The Audit Senior is integral to our assurance services team, responsible for leading audits and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service. This role will manage and execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements, and will require collaboration with clients and team members to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Audit Engagements: Plan, execute, and conclude audits in accordance with firm standards and GAAP.
  • Client Management: Maintain and strengthen client relationships through timely and effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Review and prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Supervise and Mentor Staff: Guide junior audit staff, offering training, feedback, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and the success of the audit.
  • Technical Proficiency: Remain updated on current accounting and audit standards, applying this knowledge to client engagements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure that all documentation is complete, precise, and aligned with firm guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with partners, managers, and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Active CPA license or in the process of obtaining.
  • 3-5 years of public accounting experience, preferably in auditing.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
  • Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
