Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will support tax preparation and assist with audit and accounting engagements. This individual will work closely with senior team members and gain hands-on experience across multiple clients and industries.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and estate/trust income tax returns
Assist with financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
Support tax compliance and preparation engagements across a variety of clients
Work on multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with clients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business (with an emphasis in Accounting)
CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
Understanding of tax and/or audit principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
