Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sterile Processing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our sterile processing department. This is a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, as it directly impacts the cleanliness and sterility of the medical equipment used in patient care. You will be at the forefront of maintaining the highest standards of sterilization and infection control, while leading a team of dedicated professionals. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the sterile processing department, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
2. Develop and implement effective sterilization processes and techniques to ensure the safety and effectiveness of all medical equipment.
3. Lead, train, and manage a team of sterile processing technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely and efficient flow of instruments and equipment.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sterilization supplies and equipment.
6. Conduct regular audits and inspections of sterilization processes and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Implement and enforce strict infection control measures to prevent the spread of pathogens.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sterilization technology and best practices, and implement changes as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Central Sterile Processing Manager or similar role in the medical field.
2. Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) or equivalent is required.
3. Extensive knowledge of sterile processing techniques, infection control measures, and equipment sterilization procedures.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other departments.
8. Proficient in using sterilization equipment and technology.
9. Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
