Job Details
Responsibilities:
Conduct drug and alcohol testing in compliance with safety regulations.
Enforce company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Develop work schedules and assign tasks to employees.
Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new hires.
Assist in setting pricing policies to optimize profitability.
Coordinate sales promotions and oversee merchandise displays.
Ensure the store maintains a clean and organized appearance.
Supervise sales activities, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stock as needed.
Ensure compliance with security, safety, and record-keeping protocols.
Strive to achieve store goals related to inventory control, payroll, and sales.
Handle customer inquiries and address complaints promptly.
Secure the store premises at the end of each shift.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage 1-4 subordinate supervisors overseeing departments such as Produce, Meat, and Grocery.
Directly supervise 3 or more non-supervisory employees.
Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate supervisors and staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Handle employee training, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Uphold organizational policies and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a retail management role preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
