We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Financial Operations Director to join our leading healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic financial plans, forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, and managing P&L, revenue, and cash flow. A thorough understanding of reimbursement models, particularly in the Not-for-Profit sector, is essential.

This role demands a strong background in financial reporting, hospital financial management, and service-line analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic financial plans, forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, and managing P&L, revenue, and cash flow. A thorough understanding of reimbursement models, particularly in the Not-for-Profit sector, is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial plans and strategies that align with the organization's overall goals.
- Lead and manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee hospital financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage P&L, revenue, and cash flow to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Understand and apply reimbursement models, with an emphasis on Not-for-Profit organizations.
- Conduct service-line analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure financial strategies support operational goals.
- Regularly review and update financial policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and board members.
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, hospital financial management, and service-line analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of reimbursement models, particularly in the Not-for-Profit sector.
- Proficient in forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of P&L, revenue, and cash flow management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in using finance software and other relevant IT systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to ethical financial conduct and a high level of integrity.
