We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Structural Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position, perfect for a professional with a strong background in structural and civil engineering, particularly in bridge design. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructures. They will also be involved in projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all structures are safe and meet regulatory requirements. This position requires at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Design, plan, and supervise construction and maintenance of bridge structures and infrastructure.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, writing reports and technical plans.
3. Evaluate the structural integrity of bridges, identify structural weaknesses, and propose appropriate solutions.
4. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents.
6. Ensure all designed structures comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and customer specifications.
7. Provide technical advice to project stakeholders and make presentations when required.
8. Oversee and inspect construction and maintenance work to ensure conformance with design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
9. Participate in project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
10. Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending workshops, reading professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural bridge engineering.
3. Proven experience in bridge design and understanding of bridge construction methods.
4. Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other structural engineering software.
5. Strong understanding of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
6. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
7. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
11. Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in the field.
