Position Overview: Structural Drafter, reporting to the Director of Engineering, will utilize Revit to produce project drawings.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Produce structural design and construction documents in Revit
• Create shop drawings for steel fabrication and construction in Revit
• Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to convey structural design and construction information
• Create detailed drawings that feed automated welding robots
• Gain an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods
• Promote a collaborative team atmosphere
• Work under the direction of the internal architects and engineers
• Convert CAD drawings/layouts into Revit
• Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
• Generate schedules and bill of materials

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years structural drafting
• REVIT proficiency
• BIM drafting technique knowledge
