Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our well-established and growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, from conceptual design to detailed construction drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Conducting detailed structural analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
2. Preparing and reviewing detailed structural engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Applying knowledge of building codes and design standards to ensure compliance in all designs.
4. Conducting site inspections to assess the condition of structures and provide recommendations for repair, maintenance, and upgrades.
5. Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A master's degree or higher is preferred.
2. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in structural engineering.
3. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
4. Extensive knowledge of building codes and design standards.
5. Proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, RISA, etc.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
