Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and coordinate structural design tasks for designated projects, reporting to the Project Manager for guidance.
  • Collaborate with BIM Designers to generate structural construction documents and draft intricate details using REVIT.
  • Aid Project Managers in Construction Support activities, including reviewing shop drawings and addressing RFIs promptly.
  • Uphold a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy of construction documents.
  • Continuously advance technical proficiency through on-the-job experience and ongoing educational pursuits.

Job Details

Requirements:
  • 0-4 years of relevant structural engineering experience within the realm of building design.
  • Proficiency in utilizing and applying steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design materials in projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing various types of gravity framing and wind-resistant systems.
  • Basic understanding of design/build codes, such as AISC, ACI 318, IBC, and ASCE 7.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis software like RISA 3D, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, ADAPT, etc.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional service and fostering client relationships.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and exhibit a strong willingness to expand knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possession of a state-issued Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
