Job Details
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for interpreting project scope and designing structural components for both new facilities and upgrades to existing facilities—ensuring adherence to budget and schedule constraints. The ideal candidate will have experience in private sector facility design, including greenfield and retrofit projects, with a focus on manufacturing facilities, chemical process industries, and material handling projects. This role requires independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard design techniques, procedures, and criteria to make minor adaptations and modifications. While this position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, it offers the opportunity to contribute as a technical expert.
Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a technical resource for structural integrity and seismic strength, applying engineering theories, concepts, principles, and best practices.
- Estimate and manage workload for yourself and others to ensure project success within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Represent Harris Group in client meetings, communications, and industry engagements.
- Provide on-site construction phase observation and support as needed.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Be willing and able to travel to off-site locations or accept client site assignments when required.
