Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Conducting detailed structural analysis and design of various structures with a focus on non-prestressed concrete, bridges, and seismic design.
2. Performing complex calculations related to load factors, flotation resistance, and anchor design.
3. Utilizing software such as AutoCAD and MathCad for design and drafting purposes.
4. Applying knowledge of ACI 318, ACI 319, and other relevant codes and standards in the design process.
5. Designing embedded plates and other structural components as per project requirements.
6. Collaborating with the geotechnical team for site development.
7. Ensuring that all designs conform to the established safety and structural standards.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
3. A valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. Engineering in Training (EIT) certification will be considered a plus.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MathCad, and other relevant software.
5. Strong knowledge of ACI 318, ACI 319, and other relevant codes and standards.
6. Proven experience in seismic design and analysis.
7. An understanding of geotechnical principles related to site development.
