Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction activities from conception to completion.
2. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.
3. Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
5. Effectively manage project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and financial targets.
6. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
7. Resolve any problems that may arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to minimize delays and costs.
8. Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and maintained, guaranteeing that all work meets or exceeds client expectations.
9. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
2. On-site superintendent experience in ground-up construction, preferably in banks and retail.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team of professionals.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and achieving project goals.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in construction software and technology, including project management tools and CAD software.
