Job Details
We are looking for a driven and experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects throughout the Fort Wayne area.
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee subcontractor performance, jobsite logistics, and safety compliance
* Manage site schedules, inspections, materials, and manpower in real-time
* Serve as the main on-site liaison between project management and field crews
* Conduct daily and weekly meetings to maintain alignment across all trades
* Proactively identify and resolve jobsite challenges to keep projects on track
* Enforce company safety protocols and maintain clean, organized sites
* Track progress, field reports, and daily logs using site management software
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of superintendent experience in commercial
* Proven ability to manage ground-up and/or large-scale renovation projects strongly prefered
* Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and safety procedures
* Proficient in reading drawings, specs, and project documentation
* Comfortable using project management tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar)
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Fort Wayne area
