We are currently seeking a Superintendent with a strong background in the commercial construction industry to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our company’s success, as you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion. You will be working closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Superintendent, you will be expected to:
1. Manage and supervise all construction activities on site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with OSHA 30 regulations.
2. Oversee tenant improvements and interior fit-outs, coordinating with designers, contractors, and clients to ensure that all specifications are met.
3. Develop and maintain construction schedules, coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that all milestones are met.
4. Conduct regular site inspections, identifying and resolving any issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
5. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality control measures.
6. Communicate effectively with all team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
7. Manage project budgets, tracking all costs and ensuring that all work is carried out within budget constraints.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of OSHA 30 regulations, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
3. Experience with tenant improvements and interior fit-outs, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies and processes.
4. Procore experience preferred.
